The recent growth of the Shopify ecosystem spurred on by 2020’s eCommerce boom, led ShopPop founder Jonas Van de Poel and his team to collate the Europe-wide list. Dewsign have worked with Shopify since 2015, when we built Origin Coffee’s website on the platform incorporating coffee subscriptions and barista training booking. Since then we have delivered numerous Shopify stores for both established companies and start-ups, and use Shopify exclusively for all non-bespoke platform-based eCommerce sites.
It has been interesting to see a large number of clients migrating from WordPress and Magento to Shopify. It is clear that Shopify has created a robust, scalable and dependable platform that is a joy for developers to use and easy for clients to build significant businesses within a very short space of time and with relatively low setup costs.
A great example of a migration from Magento to Shopify has been a new Shopify website created for scandinavian homeware brand Cloudberry Living. Their previous Magento website was coming to end of life so after completing a brand refresh, Dewsign undertook a content migration and developed a custom theme to relaunch their online presence. Engagement, conversions and orders have rapidly increased and the results speak for themselves.
The most advanced Shopify website that Dewsign has built is for fertility consultancy IVF Matters. They required a complex integration between Shopify + Cliniko Practice Management + Hubspot + SendGrid. This project demonstrates the experience and ability of the Dewsign team to create bespoke Shopify App integrations with multiple SAAS applications. Each IVF Matters product configured within Shopify triggers a unique email template managed via SendGrid that links to specific content, questionnaires and associated calls-to-actions that enable IVF Matters internal business process to be automated.
When a new Shopify eCommerce website is launched we quickly focus on generating sales and engagement. Marketing email and sales automations are a key part of this. We have seen significant engagement and sales generated through email automations on the Conscious Spaces website a start-up business created by Dewsign. This is one area we will be heavily focusing on in 2021.
