We are delighted to announce the launch of a new eCommerce website for Dewsign’s longstanding client, Skinflint Design.

Having partnered with Skinflint for almost ten years, we have assisted their business growth from start-up to becoming the UK’s leading vintage industrial lighting website.

In 2009, we built Skinflint’s first eCommerce website and content management system (CMS). The CMS has since evolved over time, undergoing a number of substantial upgrades allowing it to manage their complete internal business process, workflow, invoicing and accounting.

The new website is still built using the original CMS platform, however, through the creation of a new API layer we’ve totally modernised their responsive front end website using the most current and up to date development technologies; Laravel PHP framework and Vue.js JavaScript libraries. Adhering to UX and UI design best practises, we’ve created a very user-centric online shopping experience that tells Skinflint’s unique brand story, captures the essence of the product and fully optimises conversions.
