Each website built is specific to a client’s individual requirements and more importantly their business needs. We only arrive at a project specification and subsequent design via an in-depth consultation process.

Website Consultancy

Our team has decades of experience in website design, building and ongoing support. We appreciate that a website needs to be nurtured and developed over time as with any business tool, so as to provide the optimum web based experience, shop or information resource for your web visitors.

The initial website consultation stage covers the main considerations relating to website framework including a Content Management System (CMS), database and any flash or rich media aspects required. These requirements are collated into a website specification document which forms the basis of the project build.

Website Design

After the initial consultancy stage, we create a set of website design concepts - different design directions for the website interface look and feel. These are presented to a client, discussed and refined to create the signed off front end website design.

XHTML Website Templates & CSS

The selected website design is then transformed into a set of XHTML and CSS templates which forms the design template for the website. These templates are integrated into the CMS system and form the foundation of the build process.

Website Accessibility

In general the websites we build confirm to Level AA website accessibility. We have had very good feedback from blind users testing out our websites for general usage and accessibly considerations. However if you require Level AAA accessibility for specific website applications we can code to this level.

eCommerce

We have build many eCommerce websites using off-the-shelf software such as Cube Cart, OS Commerce and Virtuemart; but generally we prefer to use our own bespoke eCommerce platform to ensure a modular, scalable and robust approach to long term website development. Off-the-shelf software can be great for small 'pick-and-pack' type businesses, but for any custom applications or larger scale websites we do not advise it. Bespoke Software Application Development

Many of our clients have required bespoke web based software applications. These include :
